Back last March a movie came out from Disney called "Waking Sleeping Beauty", a documentary about the Disney Animation Studio from 1984 to 1994, and how in that time period Disney animation went from the chopping block to being the cream of the crop. I recommended anyone who was a child of the 80's or 90's to watch that film, you have a stronger feeling towards Disney and the animation of that time and you will learn a few things about Disney Animation that you didnt know.

When I think of Disney Animation I think of a crafted artist who take join in his work to bring art to the screen. Some of these arts and people in this movie are not what you dream of.. Some of the guys are selfish and would chew out another artist on a bad idea. It just made me think about once you get into any dream job you got to fight to keep it. Once you go down that hard road, you have to continue fighting that hard road.

Here are some interesting facts about Disney animation I didnt know about. That the lion king was dedicated Frank Wells, a big Disney CEO who was killed in a aircraft crash. I recall seeing that in the start of the Lion King and I didnt what that was about. That the head of Disney Animation at the time, Katzenberg was kind of a DICK and a bit selfish. Not the kind of person I would expect to be running the Animation Company. He got some work done, but pissed off alot of people.

I highly recommend watching it sometime, It has put some fire under my but this event and makes me want to do something with my art!
