Really, this shit's fucking dumb : / Isn't it common knowledge that ideas don't necessarily have a causal effect on reality? And if you say otherwise, you are a schizophrenic that should really check yourself into a mental institution immediately. If correlation does necessarily imply causation for you, then you need to be locked away before you realize the correlation of 'all serial killers are living people, so therefore being a living person makes you become a serial killer,' or something.
I know FA's actions are in response to financial issues, but that doesn't make them or the financial companies right. And this isn't merely a slippery slope issue, this is a matter of censorship by those that control the wealth. "Never mind that there's things called rights, I can just silence you by starving you".
I stopped posting art on SoFurry simply because it had a "no humans" rule that affected me. I'd consider doing the same to FA, if I weren't not posting anything anyways XD
On a side note, a capacitor on my video card blew last night while playing Poker Night (4 players going all in, including me, at the same time is apparently extremely taxing on the game) and I have spent 8 hours since then trying to figure it out/fix it. I'm now approximately 2 weeks without a main computer (I'm using an old laptop that can't run most of the things) while I wait for the RMA. And I had been in the middle of developing a Flash fetishy rpg text game that I was making tons of progress on. Suffice it to say, I am not in a good mood.

The slippery slope has started. A lot of people were like, "Oh, it's just a cub ban. Nothing more will come of it." Well, more has come of it.
In Australia, it's actually illegal to have porn with women under a certain cup size. I think it's C. The reasoning is that they look too much like kids.
Fucking ridiculous.
I've got no problem with massively overdeveloped breasts.
The depressing part is that I can see that actually being necessary some day.
I understand the financial part, what i don't get is this "people who look at those characters might think they are cubs", but who looks at FA who is not known to what kind of stuff goes here? I know there is a "clean" version of FA that you can look at on any computer, but i don't it shows cub porn stuff
I've watched a lot of non-furry artists that came to FA because of all the kinks/fetishs allowed here.
The thing about people thinking something might be cub aren't the people that usually come here, but rather the financial company that handles all of FA's income (such as from donations and ads). Usually they don't care, because they don't come here. However, some asshats who have a fetish for throwing around their dumbass values thought it would be a good idea to send a problem ticket to said financial company saying there is cub art. So, not wanting to get in trouble themselves, the financial company checks the site to confirm and then drops FA from their services. When FA moved onto another financial company, the asshats did the same thing again. And continued doing it until FA had finally been forced to ban cub to prevent dying from lack of income to maintain the site.
I normally don't use such vulgar spiteful language, but that's what these people deserve. They're the same type that fought women's rights, denied gay marriage, and the initial cause to most witch hunts/inquisitions, except with a different set of ignorant selfish values in a different battlefield.
And yeah, I watched them too XD
So sad that people rejoice over this ban. Don't they realise they've just allowed banning something based on that some people find it offensive? Everything furry is considered offensive by the majority. I wish they would think about that for a second and realise what they've put into motion...
