At the bottom of the timeline in the animation option in photoshop there should be a indicator on the timing.

I always used animation shop (by jasc, lol old program) for quickly editing the timing of gifs to the 100th of a second. It's what I've been using to edit all of my avatars. As to helping your current situation... I have no clue how to start since I'm digital old school. Although I was taught how to do it all in image ready I'm so out of practice I'm useless by now. If you want a quick fix though you can send me the jpgs and I can gif them up. It will take about a minute, max.

Thanks for the video it's still slow but Cabbage tells me that it might be because i animated at 24 fps and i should try 12. That means i have to alter my animation and i'm tired so TOMORROW... maybe...

Oh. . .you're animating using the timeline mode. . . .FPS will definitely affect things. Not too familiar with the timeline mode in PS. I use the "Frame Animation" mode. . . .

Also! I've found that you need to test the output while making it (at least in "frame animation" mode) because my browsers will not play at the same rate as it does in PS.

If the fps is the problem, going from 24 to 12 fps will make the animation slower, not faster.

I'd have to agree.

i meant i animated in 24 fps meaning there are more images bogging down the gif where as if i animated on 12 fps, there would be less images bogging down the gif and that might make it faster.

lemme look, I usually use cs4 and it's on the bottom of the toolbar in cs4.

blah okay.. I only has cs5 on my desktop, not on my laptop. XD you can also just open the file in Image Ready.

You might want to look up for Beneton Movie GIF and give that software a try.
