Days to Remember

Even though this is somewhat belated, we must stop and remember the events whose anniversaries came this week, both had powerful consequences. Tuesday, we remember the events of December 7, 1941 when Japanese warplanes launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor resulting in over 3,000 American casualties and catapulting the US into World War Two, Which six of my relatives fought in. As well as the Thirtieth anniversary of John Lennon's assassination which surprisingly and sadly got the most media attention as Pearl Harbor was a far more important event in terms of it's consequences. Remember Pearl Harbor!
