So for those that are watching or care~
The game i'm working on is going to feature the following.
FIRST!!! - This game will be Free, not micro transaction not subscription, FREE!!!!!
BADGUYS!!! No faction is good or evil, the players are depending on that persons actions!!!
YOU ARE WHO YOU MAKE YOURSELF!! -tho some-people will be biased and judge by ship design, you know who you are~
Players will be on 1 server allowing for a real community experience, not realms or such.
3 Factions: Terrans, The Calirai Combine, and *nametobedetermined*
A Sandbox universe, players decide how the borders of the factions shift in real time by taking and claiming space for their faction -home systems excluded
A real time market, players build and create everything out of materials gained from players that do mining and PVE - this means if players don't make it, no one gets it.
Transition from point A to point B will not use star-gates, but rather *Depending on your race* Mass effect, Jump portals or Warp, allowing the seemingly seamless transition between points, this works by all ships arriving at the same beacon in that solar system. or beacons [depending which direction you came from]
PVP - killing your own faction will result in honor loss, which can bar you from your home systems for long durations until you kill enough enemy NPC's or enemy players.
Fleets: Form a fleet, fly together with your friends, work as a team to do hard missions or PVP
-fleets are permanent until you leave or disband it, much like a business-
Walking in stations- comparable to possibly runescape walking in stations will be implemented for: marketing, trade and business. in a top down play style dictated by WASD or click to go*pending*
Grafix! : heres what alot of people will look for first over anything else, unfortunately it will probably look something like gratuitous space battles, but it all your in it for is the special effects, go play COD or something. It might look more like homeworld 2 if i can get people ot help with models and programing, but for now top down play-style seems best: of course this can all change on a moments notice.
Leveling - you gain levels by doing things!, use energy weapons enough you level up in that!, fly a destroyer enough and eventually you gain levels in that, much like most games.
Ships: You are not limited to flying your factions ships, if you can get the skills for a ship class and the weapons it uses, you can fly anything, its just a matter of procurement.
Starting off: you are not limited to your factions space, you can go to any factions territory without worry as long as you don't gain negative honor with them.
Weapons -Lock on your target and turn on your weapons or remote assistance modulus, your choice they will do the work for you.

-Multi Role Ships-
The Kiva -Advanced Dreadnought of the Calirai, very rare, meant to destroy capitals and everything in between, non allowed in the starter locations.-
The Kiva will be available to build by a blueprint drop from an NPC special [very small chance of drop] the blueprint can be sold on the market.
The Anaya'Sara -Medical Ship, repairs ships near it at pace and has destroyer sized weapons-
The Artica -Capital industry/combat ship designed for dangerous areas: Calirai-
Blockade Runners -combat transport ships-
-SPECIAL SHIPS-
There will be faction versions of some ships as rewards for those who do missions, they will have slightly boosted states as well making them better than the standard counterpart. also being quite a bit more expensive.
Thats the basics sofar of how it will work,

NOTE* Only Calirai ships are uploaded to my gallery, Terrans and *nametobedetermined* are in development! and the equivalent counterparts for balance!
