Remixes and Mashups - Remixes and mashups must contain significant work to distinguish themselves from the original content. "Significant work" is determined by the proximity to the original song (e.g. changing equalization/pitch is NOT considered "significant" work). The work must strive to create something new and original. Submissions deemed questionable will be flagged for review by an administrator.

Soooo...they didn't say anything? You could probably link an admin to it if you think it had enough original content to pass. :\

Also, by original content, I mean content that you put in, not the actual original track content that the AUP is talking about. X3

the only thing from the original track were the vocals
everything else was mine (even the melody was different)

I don't know who specifically you should go to about that though. Maybe post it in the forums? Have fun in there though, it can be crazy. XD

FA, being the only furry site with a decent music section is still a pretty poor music section. Genre choices are bad, getting a good critique is like pulling teeth and if it's not porn most people don't care. XD

I highly suggest an account at soundcloud. You can post high quality audio for download, comment on tracks in specific track portions, link to paysites to buy song downloads, and has a pretty massive community; including a fair-sized furry community.

Maybe Taylor Swift or her lawyers complained? FA will totally take stuff down if someone with money threatens them, regardless of the legality or any former agreements.
