Was mentioned to me by several friends of mine.

Well, that does seem to fit it's front page. Basically, the site gets around by word of mouth.

That is alot of info. I am on there too, but I am shocked how many of these things that people are into. I mean seriously? If you spend that much time having sex you must not have a job. I guess for me, the whole thing is sort of eye opening and raw, rather than furries getting to know people and peeling away layers and interpreting them and who they are by their art, and their submissions... On Fetlife boom, there they are, getting beaten by a fat asian man with a yard rake. Or boom there they are, tied to a concrete wall with clothes pins on every available surface of their body. Furries are a little less extreme and kind of have this disconnect of fantasy twisted in there... They might be into that stuff but there is like a Roger Rabbit buffer that makes it easier to digest.

It can be kind of daunting, the Fetish and BDSM crowds tend to wear their likings in quite public form.

I was mostly lured in by a few friends into the scene, and I'm finding it, well, kind of boring without people I know to harass.

As for the arm and leg long lists of people's fetishes, I can definitely agree with the 'no time for work or life' thing. I dunno, for my part, just because I like something doesn't mean I need it included every time.
