Warning to my current Sketch Commissioners..

I might be getting delayed as for a few days now my hard drive light is flashing every second and it seems to be in constant search mode. The grinding its been doing has been horrid. I defrag helped for about 45 min on the noise but it has returned. Also its been making a clicking sound now and again and it sometimes stalls which is a new trick for the main hard drive (USB drives thats normal). I know a little somethin about computers but I'm totally not an expert! I dont know what is going on, my first thought being it was a program or background program. Everything looks normal, I can't see things out of place. So why its acting this way is puzzling.
In any case, I'm backing up my files as of this post in case of a all out failure. I will still be working after this on the other images, which will be saved from a storage drive. Hopefully though the drive will hold out on me to allow me to get all the work done and maybe take more commissions to help cover expences on a new hard drive. Because if it goes- well I will be SOL. I have another PC but it is only good for internet (its a little over 10 years old too lol ).
I just wanted to let everyone in on what might happen. I dont want to abandon all of you guys suddenly! Thanks for understanding and taking the time to read this. :)

Ack! That doesn't sound very good. I hope you can get you data backed up before the drive fails.

Yeah, get that shit backed up STAT, man! That drive is going out and you caught it just in time. I DO speak from experience and I say good luck to you. Not hard to replace but certainly a bear of a problem when it happens unknowingly. So keep on that and get as much as you can off it asap.

Yep, that drive is definitely about to die. Back up everything important ASAP! I'd look at http://www.newegg.com if you're planning on replacing the drive, they usually have some good deals. Otherwise, if you have a local Fry's Electronics they usually have good deals as well.
