Name: Chrome Ebonypaw
AKA: Just 'Chrome' or 'The Fanfox'.

Currently: Disgusted.
So. FA got compromised.
Thank god the mods care enough to have shut down the site quickly and make sure things were fixed... despite what some people say the mods care about FA and its users.
But my real point in this journal is that a few of my friends had details nicked and their accounts messed with because of some past 'crimes' they 'committed' against some people who frankly need to remember that they're not so damn important to the world and that really on the net you shouldn't believe everything you hear or read.
Stealing and posting someone's personal details online is NOT COOL people.
And for those of you who read this, know what I'm on about and say that my friends posted personal details first so they deserve it?
See above: don't believe everything you read or hear.
I was there. I saw inside where this supposed 'detail leak' happened. And you know what? I don't recall any personal details being posted up THAT WEREN'T ALREADY PUBLICLY AVAILABLE.
Besides, if leaking personal details online is a bad thing why did you do it to them? Doesn't make sense at all. I hate to say it but: Hypocrites.
Maybe some people who were involved did stupid stuff, I don't know. But I do know that doing this to a couple of people who can't control what their friends do online isn't a very mature or even logical thing to do.
And that's my piece on this matter. I shall say no more. Thank you for reading.
(And I know it's usually 'two cents'... but I'm British and therefore use Pounds and Pence instead of Dollars and Cents. :P )
