Skyline, what a shitty movie & Devil.

So Im a bit ill, getting better, hopefully gone tomorrow and monday... but I took my time to watch two movies. OLOLOL PIRACY DOWNLOAD!!
Devil, by M. Night Shamajalaajambalayan:
Not that bad, but annoying to see another Jambalayan film with, you guessed it, another TWIST in the end. Pretty good twist though, but if I had thought one step further then I did, I propably wouldn't had been an inch suprised. Entertaining, but not worth spending money on.
Skyline:
So... aliens come, snatches human brains to use them for their bio-warmachines. But most of the movie we first see 7 people, one gets taken away early by aliens. The other six hide in a penthouse on a hotel, and..... dodges flying aliens from time to time. After this 2 of them gets NOMNOMED while they try to escape. Joined up by another guy who helps them into the hotel again. Then we see them again hiding in the same room. Then US army comes, nukes some aliens, aliens pissed, boom boom, war, war. 2 more dies, and we are left with the 2 people in the movie that you slighty cared about. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, wont spoil the ending. But it's fucking retared that it is JUST AT THE END that you want the movie to continue.
What pisses me off more is that you wanted some more background on WHY the aliens did this.... but nooooo, you don't get a SINGLE explination. The old "they are aliens, they've come to exterminate us" is soooooo fucking to old.
To quote a guy that reviewed on IMDB:
"Next, the main characters are being portrayed as such selfish and unsavoury people that we root for the aliens to take them away. This may be because the writers have not bothered to flesh out their backgrounds, except for a few predictable turns"
And yes, you don't really get a good background of these shitcharacters that you don't care about in the first place.
Oh yeah, another quote "Filming only cost $500,000, while the digital effects cost an additional $10 million." <---- da fuck.
