Changes to Killing Floor

Over the past several months they've made changes to Killing Floor, many of which, I'm kinda pissed at. Yes they added the Mac 10 for the flamer class and a few new maps, but then they went and tried to "balance" that classes. They cut the maximum amount of ammo you can have for the M14EBR from 14 to 7 and they increased the weight by one. Normally you could carry the M14, dual hand cannons, and dual 9mm pistols, but not anymore. Now you have to choose between dual 9mms and the hand cannons. Not only that, but on Suicidal difficulty, 14 clips of the EBR along with the pistols was BARELY enough ammo to defend a position with in line with your team mates. I was nearly out of ammo after every round, and now they cut my maximum ammo in half? WTF? They also adjusted the headshot damage for the EBR and the Crossbow, decreasing it.
I was playing Killing Floor last night on the new map they released of Santa's workshop along with the new versions of the ZEDs for it. I've got a level 6 sharpshooter, so I've got considerable bonuses for my weapons. Sadly, it looks like they made changes there as well. I reloaded my guns just as fast as any other class that had no bonuses when I should reload extremely fast. Normally I can kill a fleshpound with a headshot on the crossbow, heck even any other class could usually one shot kill an FP with a headshot the last time I played. So it's been a while. But last night when I played, I had to hit the thing 2-3 times in the head with the crossbow to kill it...on normal difficulty. We got our asses kicked on NORMAL DIFFICULTY!!! Back a few months ago I could be online with my level 6 sharpshooter and go the whole game on my own. I practically carried the team (because I always had the highest score and when I died, everyone else died). Really I carried the team no matter what class I had, I was that good at the game. Can't do that anymore and it's pissing me off. I feel like they're trying to do like Left 4 Dead did and make it even more challenging/realistic. Shoot, the game was okay on normal but it really was hell on the suicidal difficulty. And they want to make it harder?!? Seriously, I'm getting annoyed with game developers. They keep messing with the game mechanics. They did it with L4D, they did it with TF2, and that's why I don't play those games hardly at all anymore. It's why I haven't fancied playing Killing Floor lately.
Really, what happened to the games where you could just sit back and have fun and kill zombies? And not have to worry about perfectly balanced classes and whatnot? And whats even more, is that every time they've released new free content for the game it gets messed up big time. When they came out with the Demolition class the game crashed all the time, I had a hard time playing. They finally got that sorted out. They update it for the Christmas update and here we go again. Crashing all the time, lagging, and it's like the perks aren't even working half the time or just partially working...
I'm just really annoyed. Killing Floor is one of my favorite multiplayer games and it's changing in ways I don't like. =(
