TRON Legacy and a few words of common sense.

While it's a little late, I did end up seeing the midnight screening of Tron Legacy.
Personally I really enjoyed the film, it was a feast for the eyes and especially the ears. Story-wise, it was solid. I thought the actors played their roles well and for me the film didn't really drag.
I will most certainly have to mention that there are points where Jeff Bridges was totally channeling "The Dude" from "The Big Lebowski", so in a way that was bonus points for me.
As for Daft Punk providing the soundtrack, I thought they did a kick-ass job with it. It fits well, it's memorable and holy heck did it give the speakers in my theater a work out.
If there's a IMAX theater near you or a Regal Theater with the new RPX (Regal Premimum Xperience, pretty much bigger screen, higher quality film and higher quality surround sound)...see the film in one of those. I've heard reports that the audio is absolutly freakin' awesome in those kind of theaters. This is a soundtrack that deserves to be played loud and bassy to rattle your body.
Oh yes, Daft Punk's cameo in the film is downright brilliant and funny.
Also, when Sam enters Flynn's arcade...the film hits you with a great one-two punch of two great songs from the 80's. The theater I was in went bonkers when we heard both songs.
So overall, the film is really fun and worth seeing. Not to mention the soundtrack is worth getting.

In other news, amongst all the current drama that is happening. I just want to say this, just because you've read a note or two that was leaked...doesn't make you a self-proclaimed expert on the subject at hand and you know everything that happened.
