Entry #1: About Me...

So this journal thing, is it supposed to be like a blog? I think it is, but if it's not...well it is now!
Well, this first entry will mainly (basically in its entirety) be used to introduce myself and whatnot.
My name is Justin Lewis, I live in Ashburn, Virginia. I'm 19 years old and I attend Northern Virginia Community College. I'm gonna get a degree in Liberal Arts and possibly go to a four year after that (probably George Mason). I'm straight, very left-wing on the political spectrum, and I'm an atheist. My main interests include music, writing, movies, and video games. My favorite shows include Futurama, Mythbusters, The Boondocks, and most late night talk shows.
My ideal career would be a writer in some form, maybe something in acting or music too. Speaking of music, my favorite musical artists are (In alphabetical order): Angels and Airwaves, Blink-182, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, Eminem, Jimmy Eat World, Korn, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Machine Machine Head, Marilyn Manson, Meshuggah, Metallica, Oasis, The Offspring, Owl City, P.O.D., Slipknot, System of a Down, and 30 Seconds To Mars. I have a rather morbid sense of humor, and love deadpan. My favorite comedian is Eddie Izzard.
Hobbies: In my spare time, I like to write, chill with friends (usually in the form of laser tagging), listening to music on repeat, and try and record vocal covers of songs (to this day, I've only posted two on the internet, on of Limp Bizkit's "Drown", and the other of R.E.M's "The Great Beyond", mainly because I'm a perfectionist, and any small mistake, and I completely disregard the take. I'd like to say that my singing voice is similar to Liam Gallagher from Oasis).
I became a furry around June of 2009, thanks to the Star Fox series. Since then, I've written some fanfics about it, and I still do ,though I really need to get back to work on one I started on New Years day of this year. I enjoy furry art (both regular, and adult), literature, and films, but I find fursuiting to be wierd. I mean, I don't care if you do it, it's just not my cup of tea. My favorite animals are basically Foxes, Wolves, and Dogs. Unfortunately, I can't draw to save my life, so I probably won't post any drawings here, just some photos maybe.
So, yeah, that's me. I'll probably post a true journal entry sometime after Christmas. So for anyone who reads this, have a very merry Christmas!
