What the repeal of the DADT is inmeasurable. How soon do people forget that now hate crimes withing the ranks CAN increase. I didn't say WOULD, but CAN, and some will find that some friends will turn away, and some might even ask for transfers. A whole can of worms? Quite possibly. We shall see, but I hope for a silent transition without the dreaded DramaLlama getting involved.

I said basically the same thing in  qarrezel's UStream yesterday, that gays will have a harder time in the military now. The other people and her don't seem to think that will happen (well, that's a liberal for you, never thinking out the consequences of actions)

Meh. It was going to happen sooner or later: we might as well get the death-by-powerpoint over and done with and be happy we have one less reason to get kicked out in this time of job cuts the airforce is going through

I think that sitting through more PowerPoints is a small price to pay for our brothers and sisters in arms to be able to defend this country without fear of getting kicked out, for something so menial as their sexual preference. It will not change their behavior on the job, where they should be professional at all times.
