Just thought i'd let anyone who's been following my previous journals know that things have been both good and bad, the pain is sometimes easier to deal with, though i suspect that is something to do with the amount of painkillers they give me sometimes and the fact that i sometimes ask for more because the pain is just so bad.

The doctors came around today and scheduled an apointment for me to have a stoma bag attached to my body, i can't remember the name of the operation but they basically cut a small hole in my belly, cut part of my small intestine and pull it out through the hole, leaving my large intestine dormant to do nothing but heal. I have no idea how long it will take to heal, it could be several months, then hopefully they'll be able to re-attatch everything and things can start getting back to normal.

The appointment is scheduled for today, around an hour or so after writing this journal to be exact, so wish me luck.

One thing that's really depressing about all this though is that it means I won't be home for christmas, my family will visit me here but it won't be the same. On the other hand it's probably for the best since my body seriously needs to heal.
