OK, is it at *all* possible in this day and age to cover, say, "Jingle Bells" or "Sleigh Ride" for the 275,000th time and still think you're being oh so very *original*? Because at the rate some of these chestnuts get covered, you'd thinl so. >:P
I mean, do you think a song, after a while, passes a sort of event horizon where it's like "OK, nothing more can be done with this song! It's official!"
