Stereotypical "get your in way to stop xmas" scenario too huh? The battery-light and break-light came in on my car. I pulled over and checked the engine stuff. All seemed OK but I looked it up on the net since I was sitting there. All sources point to alternator failure. I called dad/mom and they both suggested I just stay home since I was near home. Lucky my dad's party was yesterday and I got to go and my mom wasn't actually having a party or anything. Her 'xmas party' is next weekend.
