ok, So I'ma do Dusk

1: Dusk is what's known as a "Specter" that is a classification for the sorts of abilities he leans toward as his power is inclined towards dealing with time, space, and the supernatural world as well as shadows. Dusk has abilities to manipulate, commune, and call upon these forces, often speaking with ghosts, walking through shadows, backwards cycling time in a small sphere of influence around himself while he falls to prevent damage from leaping from impossible heights, etc. though powerful, his powers like most of the magic in my world has real limits and is more along the lines of something paranormal than what I like to call "poof, there it is" magic.

2: Favorite food and drink: Dusk is a coffee Connoisseur. It is not uncommon to find him at a coffee house with a pile of books to poor over. He considers it of the finer things in life and would take it over even traditional teas, much to Grandfather's disdain. Also, Dusk loved fish! The smell of fish can have a rather comical effect on him as he often totally forgets all manners becomes no better than a begging street kitten!

3: Dusk is a veritable ghost. He is extremely difficult to trace. A master of stealth with powers that are honed and designed to assist is that, Dusk once used these to be what likely could have been Arcanes most dangerous assassin before a change in the winds so to speak brought him to a more noble life. Still though, those skills are fare from lost and those that know him know that contact with him is only by his allowance. if he wishes not to be found, he won't be.

1.) I like you're term 'poof, there is is' magic XP it's just so perfect a definition. I love the idea of the give and take magic, rather than the 'magic words create things from nothing' type, it's almost like alchemy in it's own sense, but more on the mysticial level tehn the physical one. While I know the draw back to using too much of this type of magic, is that he turns into the Doll, I'm actually rather curious about the doll itself. are the dolls a common thing in your world? or is it just a special creation? and also, what exactly are they? just simple dolls given life? or is it something that bgins as the doll is begun being created?

2.) Fish, and Cats.. ah the simple pleasures, eh? XP given how much time he spends pouring over various texts and the like, has he ever come across things like forbidden magics and such? like concoctions to make caffenine more potent, perhaps? XP kidding, kidding...but seriously, things that might have been lost to time, or hidden away because of their dangerous adverse effects and such or even powerful tricks that are tantilizing because of their low requirments and ease for abuse?

3.) as for this Ghost thing...I'm assuming it's almost like a skill level in a sense, but it also seems to have a deeper meaning behind it, since I'm guessing 'ghost' isn't actually an aquireable rank...no matter how much more badass it sounds than 'ninja' XP I'm curious about the msater/student relation ships and hoe the levels of skill seem to work, is Dusk teh only one of his skill level? or is it more, he's the only one in the area, type of thing?

4.) (Bonus CRACK QUESTION) cause this was something I started with the other guys that responded to my journal just to make things more interesting XP here's the question--You wake up one day and realize that you're now of the opposite gender, for whatever reason. After the initial mind-shattering reality of the situation, followed by the several hours curled up in the fetal possition bawling your eyes out, how would your character respond?
