I take it you don't read the admin notices in red. They have been up for like a half hour at least before you posted. They are looking into it.

no i didnt read it. graphically a notice of red on a cool gray background that is almost black does not stick out and therefore my eyes skip it. graphically it does not stand out as a admin announcement more like a header for a large photo in a newspaper no one reads it unless they notice it due to the photo overwhelming the page. graphically the notice does not stand out and my eyes ignore it

I think this is an improvement, because earlier today I'm sure it was all journal comments ever, everywhere that were gone...

I think its due to database problems with the coding and commenting system. Random data corruption over the past maybe n-10 days on a random uname (a simple coding error) could cause something like this(especially with the past events though likely unrelated) .

FA has a really crappy gnarly commenting system as it is with all the comments of the entire site being placed into a single massive array. When that happens data can get lost or eaten when querying for it.
Its probably the worst part of FA at this moment because fixing it requires completely recoding the site.

No they're not. Check your latest journal - it says 4 comments, but now go and try to read them ^.^

its prolly a chunk of the comment database being corrupted then from n-10 days if their not present. Doubtful that the coding in the previous breach would have been changed as it just looks like a release of information rather than a crack

i see it but i have to go looking my eyes dont bother seeing it being graphically it doesnt stand out
