In the comedy section, there's Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt. It's like Powerpuff Girls on steroids and the music is amazing. It's also made by Gaianax, the creators of FLCL so you know its gonna be good.

In action, I'd suggest Highschool of the Dead (A surprisingly good zombie anime), Occult Academy, Angel Beats, Durarara!! My personal current favorite: Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee, and Heroman (Made by Stan Lee :D)
