Happy new year! Announcements for 2011

Hey guys, hope you had/are having a great new year's eve!
In the coming week I'm going to be finishing all my current commission orders, and then I'll be ready to open for some more. I'm kinda burnt out on sketches though, so I'm thinking about offering some alternatives, like icons or traditional badges. I have a borrowed tablet to play around with now, so I might open for some cheap digital stuff to get some practice in. Feel free to make suggestions if there's anything you'd be interested in commissioning.
I'm also in the middle of rewriting my Commission FAQ and updating a few rules. I'll make a new post for that when I'm finished.
As of this post, sketch commission prices are staying the same, though I still have to think about it a little. I want to turn out better art on a more consistent basis in 2011, but I can only draw and color so much for $10-15. We'll see!

You should be charging at LEAST 15$ an hour...and since you color these sketches im sure it takes you a bit longer than that!
Charging so little gets commissioners too used to cheap prices, so when they see prices artists should be charging their jaws drop and they complain. The more that artists charge realistic prices, the more we can get commissioners used to this standard.
