The Bitter Dregs of Unemployment

Being taught to avoid talking about Politics and Religion has led to a lack of understanding of Politics and Religion. What we should have been taught was how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic.
Today it is official. I do not have a job to go to tonight. Not for my own causing, but my security company has lost the contract at the site I worked at. They also do not have a new site for me to go to.
(at least my manager does not, others might) I have filed for unemployment, and am hoping that it will not be needed and this will only be a short break.
