so, thins have been busy, from fixing cars to kidnapping new roommates from their mom.
lately life has been a roller coaster for me and while I am an understander of life's ups and downs, I think I am becoming weary of all this silliness sometimes. I think that's why i've been avoiding the internet so as not to add extra. Not that anyone here would do that, I just need all the rest I can get lately.
But to be honest, as insane as things have been, they have been going well.
Our new roommate is amazing, he paid his rent the day he fucking got there before unpacking things from the car. I was in shock. and was very happy.
He's also been good about keeping the house clean, which is AWESOME!!!!!
Hmm...trying to pull up other things. I'm another semester closer to graduation. If all goes well I'll be a graduate by the end of 2011. Then I'll find a grad school, which will most likely be Fayetteville AR (I'm lazy and wanna be close to family now).
Some bad news, FF probably won't get to happen. Me and the missus were supposed to room with a friend who had a situation occur. It was understandable so no one is angry or anything. But it boils down to the fact of we lost our room.
I will admit it stinks. We had to miss MFM because of financial crisis before, and now we had finally gotten things near settled we were looking forward to this. But, you know what, there are other cons, and we have this crazy thing called the internet. So I'm pretty sure that, no matter what happens, everything will be okay, and if worse comes to worse, I will see everyone at the next con.
Not much else has happened. Been looking for work and met this guy at a liquor store randomly. After half an hour he told me to come back in two weeks because he was going to have to let someone go who was moving anyway. Apparently my background makes me a reasonable candidate for working there. I think it's kinda funny, but at the same time it'll be a nice job if that's the case. it's not far from home and has a tv. not to mention the hours are really good and steady.
well, I am tired, so I will go get some sleep now.
