So about a year ago...

My biological father insulted my little sister and my family. I disowned him as my dad after that. He's always been a complete shit to me, even more of an ass to my sister. I don't remember what started the fight, but my sister was a snob to him in an email. He went nuts, said she meant nothing to him, called her a bitch, cunt, ect. and... the thing that hurts me the most (and maybe her, iunno) is when he said, "I spit in a cup and you are what developed."
My mother and my aunt (she's mostly my dad XD) wrote him emails telling him to leave us alone, but he persisted! He kept calling her names, but then coming to me and saying, "well, I never meant to hurt anyone! You're reading my emails wrong!" and lies such as those. My sister and I haven't spoken to him since... well... until his birthday last year.
I call him up and say "Happy Birthday!" and.. him, being the fucking asswipe he is, ignores my happy message and talks about my sister. Well, I was trying to make good, I guess, and I told my sister to just say happy b-day to him, if he got bitchy, hang up. Well, she doesn't even get to SAY it, he starts insulting her with names and other put-downs. She didn't hang up until about 10 minutes passed. She was crying SO hard... I didn't mean for that to happen! He then called back and left a voicemail that said "If you ever want to get to know your REAL father, call me back. If not, LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!"
WELL!
Since then I haven't written him an email, called him, nothing. I wondered if he'd died, even... then I get an email from him a few days ago. Of course, he mentioned how my sister never returns his emails or anything. Maybe it's because he hasn't written anything to her..? I'M NOT SURE. I'm wondering if I need to tell him off... For good.
He's obviously the bitter type, the kind of person that never lets go of the past. He still blames my mom for shit... they got divorced 14 years ago!
My stepdad and I have talked about me actually being legally adopted by him, but I don't like the name "Nicole Brown." If only he had a cooler last name... XD
But yeah, sorry for the rant... this just... pisses me off to no end. If anyone is going to call my sister names, IT'S ME. D:< No one else is allowed to!

Truthfully, perhaps not so much a tell off for good as more of a ignore for good. That way you have the option in the far future, if you want, to contact him again without having to worry about rebuilding burnt bridges.
Problem is, sounds like he's got his own view of how things went down, and isn't willing to change that for any of you. Too bad, since it certainly seems like he's focused on getting you all to never talk to him again.
