Generally if I commission an artist for something, it's usually an icon, badge, or something of the small sort. Every now and then I commission someone for a sketch or regular picture.

I make sure the artist is open for commissions and the sort. They're even uploading a decent amount of pictures all the time...

Do I make people not want to draw? :c Is my characters really that undesireable to draw?? Wtf is going on???

I'm pretty sure there's an artist I've been waiting for months for a commission from.
And another who keeps uploading drawings yet not my commission or the other person who commissioned her's.

Wtf. I want my drawing.

I know I can take a lot of time on a drawing, but at least I get it done and try my best to let the commissioner know of any progress.

Which reminds me. Owed babyfur badges will get done this week, and I'll be going back to those two ref sheets I owe (now that I have the means of creating them again).
