i have a few items that represent people to me. a set of dog tags, a tophat, a lab coat... even a pineapple. every time i see one or hear the word, it makes me think of them

i'm sure that encounter with a gentleman military scientist/pineapple hybrid was a flood of nostalgia

hahaha its different people but yes... that would be quite amazing.

A - I'm not sure if I do this with other people. I do associate certain things more with some people than others - my husband likes human skulls, so they always make me think of him. Most people have certain objects or imagery that they like a lot or that mean something to them, so it repeats itself in things they own or things they draw and make if they are an artist. This is an interesting question, it makes me want to pay more attention to that!

B - for myself, symbol wise antique keys are <3, but another one that not everyone knows is chickadees. If I'm not representing myself with any kind of persona, those are the two images, one or the both combined, that pop to mind. I'm not sure if there is any strong reason for either. I'm in love with old keys, both for the aesthetic of them, and for everything a key can be. And chickadees, well, I always adored them as a kid, and a long time ago, one of my friends asked me what I would be if I were a bird. They popped instantly to mind, and she snuck me in a picture as a chickadee. It stuck ;p

C - that dark hearts symbol you use of course sticks out ;p I can't say I know you well enough to have anything outside of that, since thats what I see you use personally. However, sea slugs always make me think of you, since i know you like them, and they are an unusual animal to appreciate, which I think is cool.

Old keys of any sort (and skeleton keys) remind me of a special person, as does the ouroboros and goats.

For myself, birds are usually involved in some way. Lately I'm using a kakapo because, well, fat ground parrot is suitable.

Another aspect of my mind (or alt or whatever, I can't explain it easily) has a few I associate with her. A wheel of life, omega emblem and a serpent of some sort as well as wings, which has lead me to associating her with an Amphitere or Quetzalcoatl.

I wish I had something that was deeper than "It always comes to mind when I think of it/them", but that's just what it is :c

Ooh it's okay, there's a few of them around! Though the feathery ones seem to be restricted to South America.

I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT THIS BEFORE

but I guess now that I think about it, I have a few. LEDs, particularly colorchanging ones. Tarot cards. But it's not really a symbolic representation of them, just something they had a lot.

As for me, the number eight. One day I'm gonna get this tattoo.. but I have to think about it more. Also orange peacock feathers :B

A: Not usually, no, but I do occasionally if one really sticks out in my mind. Like Resident Evil for a certain lady-friend of mine, or Sabrina Online for Eric Schwartz, or giraffes for my friend Kadath. But other than that, not really.

B: For me, I associate myself with White Siberian Tigers and Transformers. I do have a symbol I use for whenever I draw anything (which is regrettably not that often) as a signature, but that's it.

Well your logo of course makes me think of you... and masks do too, since I know you collect them. Certain objects do remind me of certain people.

I usually associate myself with stars or rabbits.

Easy, I can be represented by a Microscope. For it's analytical usage and purpose of always looking at the deeper picture of things. But also an Easel; I always feel like the foundation of a person, rather than a completed work of fiction. But something less concrete or even conceptual but rather something that can be held to be painted in a variety of ways; Personally, I'd describe myself as quite lucid, or fluid, let held to some standard of rigidity.

Other objects, I could identify symbolically with are; An empty cup, a Skeleton, a light bulb, a tie-dyed lab coat, or a Journal/textbook. All four of which, are just different connotations of the Microscope or Easel; The illumination of things, or the foundation of images.

This journal has been interesting.

I have a symbol I draw, and if I could I'd use it instead of a signature with letters. It's three horizontal lines, the top one long and swooped up at the end, and the bottom two straight. It's meant to represent a blue heron in flight.
