I got DCUO, currently downloading it. it should been done in a few hours and then I'll hopefully get to play it

I played DCUO in beta, got both a hero and a villain up to max level, which was 30. It was fun, but it falls into the same problems that most MMOs do. 'Go here, kill this, come back.' I think ultimately the lack of options for character customization and for powers kinda hurts the game compared to Champions Online, however I will admit that getting to fight alongside Batman and the Green Lantern or Catwoman and Joker on the villain side made things a lot of fun.

Was also in the beta here but didn't get my heroes or villians to max level (heh I played around with the character creator too much) and can agree with your points here. About the only thing I found different compared to Champions Online was the varied amount of missions and paths to do sure it was still straight forward on the rails to the endlevel but I could choose to help my patron SH/SV or choose one of the other two. One thing I didn't like was the fact they combined the PvE missions with the PvP ones in the mission journal. Ended up not doing half the missions because I don't line to PVP. They didn't have annoying citizens coming up to you begging for help like they do in CO, you stop a mugging or find a sidequest they didn't come to you.

MMOs are like war shooters, they're all exactly the same in every way.

Yep seen that. The intro is very cool, but I'm still gonna judge the game by the gameplay it presents.
