They got $300 out of the FA t-shirt contest... and I got art designs we can't put on a shirt because the left in an explosive storm of drama heralding all furries by the name of hate. Did not make for a happy Dragoneer. Not at all. $400 down the drain, lost forever. =/
I remember that crapstorm. Sucks, man. I'd push more cause the roommate thing is a loadabull. But hey.. since this is a 'roommate' you can have he/she/it talk to her about getting your stolen money back? Ehhh?
HMO left in a drama bomb the kind of which legends are made of. It left a bitter taste in my mouth to say the least.

For one, the style used to draw eyes is very unique and not often changed. Wetheryby's eyes are oustandingly similar to HMO's.
For another, fetish body parts in art dont change very much either, and for me, obviously its feet, you can tell my art by looking at the feet, lol. For hmo, i think its pecs and chest, something that is always heavily defined and uniquely shaded. Wetherby's pec outlininga and shapes are carbon copies of hmo.
Wetherby claims he/she cant shade. LOL. Any artists (i think) know that an important part about drawing the human body, shapes and curves and outlines of muscles, bones, etc, are impossible unless you can shade. I simply REFUSE to believe that you can draw so good and cant shade, its bullshit to its fullest degree. Thats like saying that you are a professional car designer but just cant draw straight lines nor perfect circles. Doesnt go together.
and besides, if a person is as good as wetherby, they wouldve started in other places before they came to FA. I refuse to believe that FA was the inspiration towards drawing, and the artists just was lucky enough to discover such skill upon registering with the account. Artists are first known usually by fchan, vclart, or some other fanart or whatever site for years and years before coming to FA.
Nomatter what excuse is used as "oh i'm new, blah blah blah" you have to have a fucking shitload of ego to jump into your very first site, show off your art for the very first time, and HAVE ENOUGH CONFIDENCE TO DISH OUT OVER 500 FUCKING COMMISSIONS.

Rote (cause that's just how I know her, okay?) is a drama whore. Always has been, always will be. As much as that might have bothered me back in my DA days (lol, about a year ago) I've got to say, I've grown quite fond of drama whores, and the comedy which ensues from their actions.
Such is why I command you, your brother, your sister, your mother, your grandpa, and any other relative you know, to screen cap EVERYTHING she says, for use later on down the road. The moar lulz, the better. :3

We were the best of friends, inseparable.. you know Bestfriends4eva! and all that, and from what I could tell she wasn't really a dramawhore back then. But we had our share of friend fights, usually over trivial, stupid stuff. Hey.. I was just as much at fault. But at one point her personality did a COMPLETE 360. She thought I was out of line for getting upset when the 4channers were hacking all my stuff-- my BUSINESS stuff, saying I took the internet too seriously. Then she just kinda.. stopped talking to me, and when I approached her to ask what was up, she threw something at me along the lines of: "You offend me. Your life offends me. You'll never amount to anything." Etc.. etc and dropped me like an old habit. It was pretty shocking to witness such a spontaneous and unprovoked change, for all I knew we were still friends.
Ah well. Que Sera Sera.

As for the dramawhore thing... She had her share of RL issues (which I am starting to womder if they weren't just lies for attention..) so maybe I'm wrong. But back when we were buddies she was at least a really cool person to be around for me at least.
Hate art..? Hmmmnah. Contrary to 4chan's impression of me, I don't much care for shitstorms and drama. This call out was just cause I was rather shocked to see her back, and under such an obvious guise milking the very fandom she told to f-off of their porn art money. A heads up maybe for any potential commissioners who didn't realize her facade.
Especially anybody involved with the furry fandom.
So I'll be chalking that excuse for drama-llamaing up there with "If you don't have a receipt, then I can't/won't do anything" in a list of seemingly legitimate explanations.
