I think it would be okay. Just click on the "put in scraps" right below the Submissions Rating when you finalize the upload. It's the place where you write information and keywords about the pic and such... Just check that box and it will only show up to those who are watching you. The scraps is a good place for photos or other non-artwork related things. Or just anything that you don't want to show everyone on the front page after submitting it.
