i want to download songs and other music things from fa to my computer, but on this 15year old hunk of junk i can:(
then i was hoping that i would be able to get the music onto my philips 4gig mp3player

I don't own a portable MP3 player, so if that's what you're trying to do, I can't really help. But you should include some more details as to what you're actually trying to grab, and where you're trying to play them.
