HELP - Vintage Plushie?

OKAY
I've finally decided to do it...
I asked my sister if she remembered the one toy I loved from when I was little
And of course - SHE DID - and she couldn't believe I remembered it xD
It was apparently a first birthday present from my godfather
So after confirming I wasn't crazy I plugged stuff into Google and Ebay
...With no turn ups
Which doesn't surprise me - it's an obscure toy
So I was wondering if maybe anyone had a similar toy or knew what it was
I desperately want a replacement of my childhood friend
So if you wouldn't mind taking the time and doing a quick search...
The plushie was:
-brightish blue
-had eyes and feet/legs
-shaped like a G or O [pretty sure G]
-would have been around 1989
Please help me out guys!

When I was a little girl, I had a plush dog. His name was brownie and he was my favorite. He was my best friend. When Brian and I went to see Toys Story 3 we cried througout the movie. On our way home from the movie I described my favorite toy. Brownie was a brown mutt/golden retreiver, with suede paws, floppy ears and brown plastic eyes. Then for our anniversary, he found me a giant version of Brownie on amazon and told me that it was brownie, but he got bigger, 'cause I got bigger. :D He is amazing and I will see if we can find your toy. <3 good luck!
