Hey, I just tried to preorder your game bundle, but Alertpay said you wouldn't accept credit card payments and yet your website still seems to think the transaction completed successfully.

Just a heads up, don't want you sending me something I haven't actually paid for. I look forward to when you'll start taking credit card payments.

Yeah, we're still waiting for AlertPay site verification. Once that's clear we can take credit card payments. And don't worry—we get separate notifications from the site and from AlertPay, so we know when someone pays us!

In the meantime, if you really want to pre-order now and secure your cameo, you can pay us with a credit card by opening up an AlertPay account, which is free and operates exactly as a PayPal account does. They are secure and spam-free.

Actually that's still not an option, according to AlertPay (unless I'm missing something). It's either pay through a credit card through them (which can't be done until you guys get verified, which hopefully should be soon!), or pay with my AlertPay balance, which involves transferring funds from my bank account. I dunno, maybe there's a workaround that I can't figure out.

Anyways, I'm not too proud to wait for everything to get set up first lol

What you need to do is add a card to your AlertPay account so that it can draw the necessary funds directly from the card. I do know it works because every other purchase made thus far has been with a credit card and not a direct AlertPay balance transfer—in other words, nobody has needed to move funds from their bank to their AlertPay account to make the payment.

I believe that adding the card to your account makes it the default backup source of funds.

On your AlertPay account profile, towards the top right of the site, is an option to "Add Credit Card". Follow those instructions and you should be able to send money. If not, there may be something wrong with the store. If you have a card attached to your account and you still can't purchase the game, try sending a payment directly to our e-mail (squishyfrogstudios[at]gmail.com) and see if that clears. If so we need to look into our store code. Thanks!

I was able to send the payment to your account directly via my Visa just now. I'm not sure what is up with your store, but I'm still getting the message that you aren't accepting credit card payments, despite me having a card successfully linked to my account.

Okay, we've played around with it and we see what the problem is. I have one last thought, and wonder if you tried to pay with your $0 AlertPay balance? I know it doesn't make any sense, but as you can see there's no option to send the money directly in the way you ended up having to do. So I'm thinking as long as you tell it to use your AlertPay balance, the money would be taken from the card on file.
