Internets…

Well, wish me luck… I'm going to try and get internet service this weekend, or sometime soon. I've been hooking rides on a couple networks around my neighborhood for a few months now, and finally hit a snag this morning when I was informed my IP had been copied, and was being used by another machine! I don't know exactly what that means for my security, but I'm pretty sure its not good! Anyways, I'm going to be looking for some High Speed, we'll see what I can get.
For those of you who have been asking for chat, this means I will soon be able to accommodate you, and it means I can maybe get my online art courses I've been wanting as well! I've missed being able to watch streaming video an' such…
So, with a fresh IP in hand, and new passwords, I'm heading back out. Right now I'm at work, and will likely be incommunicado for a day or two. Still going to try and upload my dailies, but I might not be able to answer any questions of comment in the meantime. So- I'm off… for now.

In other words, in the Internet Connection Settings on Windows is likely assigned to 192.168.1.2 or 192.168.1.10, which is likely conflicting with your system. 192.168.*.* ip addresses are typically used on most routers, and is very common.
Solution: All you need to do is turn on Obtain IP Address automatically in your settings, and you should be good to go. And if that still doesn't work, let me know, and I'd be happy to try and fix it for you.
