Stupidity is not ignorance. Ignorance is not knowing something. I know absolutely nothing about atomic physics, African folk songs, how to bake a cake and quite a few thousand other things. Therefore, in that regard I am ignorant.
Stupidity, on the other hand (paw?), is knowing something and still proceeding as if that fact did not apply to the person doing the action. For example, wetting my finger and inserting it into an electric light socket. I know what will happen, but if I do that action with the expectation of it not happening because it is ME doing it -- that is stupidity.
I see far too many people, including college and university students, with that stupid attitude and perhaps a heavy layering of arrogance tossed into the mix. “The facts don’t apply to me because I am special and therefore I can do whatever the heck I want to without any negative consequences happening to me.” And then when those “negative consequences” do happen to the “special person” we are expected to shower them with compassion and sympathy over their “misfortune”. BS! Negative consequences are the result of stupidity and should be accompanied by derisive laughter from on-lookers.

The existence of Fox News' political section spreading half truths, falsehoods and generally misdirecting the people who watch them as if everything they say is true or they actually bother to look up information.
Crappy and/or boring games that get a pass just because they are of a particular franchise.
Not being able to go on the internet and talk with friends without certain games constantly popping up.
People who treat something which isn't much of an advancement (really it's just a dusted off altered copy) of something that came out in the past as if it is the newest best thing ever to be created. (Really I'm talking about TF2 in comparison to every other FPS game or mod of an FPS that came out before it, but it can mean physical devices too) They're just so freaking gullible it's insane.
People who try to get you to do something just so they can beat you at it and inflate their ego.
I could go on, but I'm stopping here.

GDMIT! people can create a world war-iii scenario or zombies, aliens, whatever, but please, STOP RELYING ON NAZIS! anyone that played "call of duty" or "medal of honor" knows what i mean (really, i'm so used shooting nazists i can't think of them as a powerful unbeatable army of destruction, i know they were defeated some day, like rome were, but seriously, it stops being powerful and turns stupid), i hold some kind of disgust related to the world-wars, especially because people only use THESE two historical events to create an FPS, why does no one play time-splitters or Fall-out? (two futuristic FPSs, that may even rely on the WW idea to give a bit of a foot-hold for the next step, but DON'T use them as the whole excuse for doing the missions in-game)

People who make assumptions (read: STUPID) based on another person's opinion. (Ex: P1: "If you like techno then you must be GAY! FAG!" P2: "...now tell me, I'm gay because I like bright colors and sounds, and you're...? Straight? Because muscle men in leather grinding their crotches against triangular red "instruments" is TOTALLY heterosexual. Grow up." P1: "I'll KILL YOU!" P2: "See? It's /WONDERFUL/ when your opinion is stomped upon. You come up with such INGENIOUS responses.") ...or something to that effect.
Oh, and on that note: assholes who try to make "music" that is intended to make the surrounding people listening (not by their own choice, mind you) feel awful. There are A LOT of kinds of music with "musicians" that do this. All of them can get smashed by a falling tree. (not literally, but it would really be nice if they wizened up and learned how to be NICE.)
