The translation that appears in the maverick link is correct, excepting a word.
The liryc say "Oyeme Pacha Mama" and not say "Hoy ven más Pacha Mama" how apper in that traslation...in english is "Hear me Pacha Mama" and not "Come today" because this song is a request or a prayer to Pacha Mama that in the Inca culture is the earth, the mother earth.
So the right trslation to english is:

Padre Sol - Father Sun
toda vida en la tierra - All life on earth
amenaza con perderse - threatens to get lost (or to extinguish)
ni la hierba - neither the grass
ya no crece. - grows anymore.


Oye me - Hear me
sin más tardanza - without more delay
que es tan verde la esperanza - that it is so green the hope
Manda el agua de tus cielos - Send the water from your heavens
que dé vida a los desiertos. - that give life to the deserts.

About the quechua prayer, the fonetic traslation is good. And sorry, but I dont know that language (just I know some words). The Kjarkas are a nice group of the andean music and is cool that you can sing this song in your country.

Well, knowing a bit the Latinamerica music's structure and knowing some words too, I think that probably in that prayer, the singer repeats the same ideas or petitions expressed in the song, but now in Quechua.Then if you expressed the same phonetics, there won't be problem. ^^

As you can see Gran Dragon did the literal translation well. I just wanted to help out, so you could get the story as a whole, from changing it to... A more slang type of English, or what the phrases mean as a whole to me, to spit back out into English.
