Oh hey by the way

This has actually been up for a little while now, but I'd forgotten to tell you guys about it. I was recently featured on Kurrel The Raven's Furry x 60 3, a rapid-fire compilation of one minute long pieces of music, poetry, and sound art by furries. You should definitely check it out, and listen for me at 17:00, 22:00, 48:00!

According to the liner notes, my genre is "indie." That's cool, haha, and it is fitting, in the most basic sense of the word, but I'm not sure if that would have been the first thing I would have labeled myself as. Indie isn't so much being independent anymore as much as it is a particular sound, and I'm not sure if I have that. Oh well. <3
Speaking of music, Here There Be Tygers, the prog-rock duo I was a part of is no more. But it's okay, since my drummer and I have started working on another project: a nu-jazz combo. This time we've actually got four members, plus plans for guest artists in the future. I still play bass, but Connore, previously the drummer and primary lyricist, is now joining us on his native instrument, trumpet. He's got an electric pickup mute, which lets him plug into this classic Brit combo amp. It's pretty legit. Also joining us are a new drummer and a synth player. The goal of the combo is to eventually become a completely improvisational group, according to Connore, but I personally think that we should aim for being mostly improvisational--You've got to have some recognisable themes associated with yourself if you want to be a successful band, after all. We're fleshing out plans for a new album, for which I will be the sound engineer. I plan on completely overhauling the setup in our "studio," allowing for what I hope to be 8-10 microphones and a desktop computer rather than my laptop, which is lacking in the processing power to handle heavy recording. Don't worry though; it'll still be the most unlegit recording setup ever. Chances are the microphones will be Rock Band mics, and the computer will be running Apple GarageBand. Keep an eye out for it; it should be coming out sometime this summer.
Check it out I totally got Team Fortress 2. I'm an all right sniper. We should play sometime.
Hey, do you guys remember my blog? I'm not sure what to do about it--I think spelling "Curiosity" in the URL would have been really important, though, haha. So likely I'm going to be abandoning that particular blog, but I'd like to ask your opinion on starting another one. The thing about Curiosity Anonymous was that while it got a pretty consistent 1 view per day, it received a very little amount of comments (much like my FA and DA! <3 Sometimes I wonder why I even bother anymore) and I'm really not sure if I want to commit to taking the time and effort into writing entries and the like if no one is going to weigh in, or if I'm only going to get one person reading it. I know this is wasted on you because none of you comment, but what do you think I should do? The reason I would be keeping a blog would be for a slightly more professional place to keep my music, art, and other such things.
That's about it.
Go on and ignore me.

Spread the music a bit more, get a few people attached and then start the blog.
If you blog too early, you won't get much visitors but instead comments that say "Get 10000 views per day using our software... blah blah "
Indie does fit you tho X3
