I just got back from an 80 mile round trip with my dachshund, Danny. We went to the NEAREST GameStop (fuck, I live in a rural area) to pick up Dead Space 2. I was torn about getting the game at release, but I decided that I didn't want some asshole spoiling the ending for me. I also put another $20 down towards Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll. I am really fucking pumped for that game! It looks amazing! I've really been needing a good adventure-RPG since Rogue Galaxy. There has been an utter lack of adventure-RPGs this gen. Everything is an FPS-RPG these days. What the fuck, man? How about some variety?
Anyway, I had a good drive with my dog. He just chilled out in the passenger seat the whole time. Occasionally he would stand up on the dashboard to get a glimpse of things he'd never seen up close, like 18-wheelers and giant eucalyptus tress.
Danny is also helping me get into shape again. He makes me walk him around a mile everyday, so hopefully I'll start being a little bit less of a fatass.
Not to sound cliched, but Danny is seriously my best friend. I joke to my pregnant gf that he is my first son. She fails to find the humor.
I'll probably end up making some artistic progress tonight. I'm sure Dead Space 2 will get too intense for me once it gets darker, and at that point I'll have to take a break and draw.
