Well, this may not make you feel better, but perfect characters are not interesting.

The Ninja Turtles had a serious pizza addiction to contend with. The best super heroes have issues, like Spiderman or Superman. The best TV shows (among them, in my opinion, shows like 30 Rock, M.A.S.H., Battlestar Galactica, etc.) are based on nothing but severely, nearly debilitatingly-flawed characters.

Perfect characters fun to roleplay on a muck or use in a one-shot story as spank bait, but that's about it. I don't write many long stories because flawed characters, which are more interesting and realistic, are much harder to do properly, and I'm very lazy. I'd be curious about what comic you're reading, because even though the main character sounds gorgeous, I bet he's dull as a plastic spoon.

Same goes in real life, by the way.

I should also clarify: having something happen to perfect characters is not interesting, because they're so perfect you know they'll make it through even more perfect than when they started. Even if what is happening to the characters is interesting, more often than not it's more interesting than the characters themselves (this is what caused the TV show Heroes to blow big time).

Actually he's kind of a side character but has managed to win over the whole fan base. As for the comic itself its actually quite good, but for the sake of the artist and writer I'm not going to say whichh comic it is. I don't want to sound like I'm attacking it like some emo troll ass-wipe.
