I'm disgusted...(heart wrenching story)

Don't read this if you love kittens so much you never want to hear anything bad that could happen to them...but I have to get it out, I can't just try and forget about it...
Today as I was walking home from summer school the same way I've walked home for ages, the same silver neon parked in the same corner lot as always, but today the woman who owns it pulled out, and as she drove past me, I heard something moving behind me, and as I turned, I saw the most painful thing I've seen. Two young kittens, probably not even two months old convulsing on the pavement, blood was coming from their noses, and I just couldn't move, I just stood there frozen, until one, then the second stilled...dead...And now I will again hound my mom to check her tires before she leaves, and check under the hood anywhere a cat could be sleeping on the car before she leaves. It happend once in our van a few years ago with a squirrel, my mom humored me for about a week, but eventually said that cats don't do that. Well, she was wrong...and I still feel like I'm going to puke or cry, or both. I just need to hold a kitten, but none of mine will hold still long enough, and now I'm sadder than ever that we have to get rid of them all, they've all grown on me, but I know it's best for them, since we're really a lot worse off than we used to be.
Well, I'll leave you all with that as a thought, check your cars before you start them up! Please! Dead kittens are not cute...

And sometime this week all of our cats are getting taken to a shelter up in Cleveland that is still taking in cats, except our oldest Mocha, and her son Herman, since he's going bald and no one would want him, and my mom wants to get him taken care of, doesn't trust anyone else. We want to keep all the kittehs, but one, it's too expensive, and two, my mom and I are both allergic...beh...but we should probably be able to keep that puppy, not sure if the other owners changed their minds about keeping it yet or not though...
When I got home, I was all shaking and stuff, but I went around and found all six kittens and cuddled em as long as they'd let me, now I just have the horrible image, but I know my kitters are all okies...
