Mogo Zoo - full of fluffy win
So Denco and I moseyed on over to check out Mogo Zoo while we're in the area. That is, the middle of nowhere, which is why you probably haven't heard of it.

It's a minor independent zoo but impressive, and just large enough to spend a day at. Particular highlights are a pride of white lions, supercute red pandas, several servals, lounging snow-leopards (hey look, it's Fuzziball!) and a tiger with three cubs.
Oh yes, the tiger cubs.
OMIGOSH I squealed. They are just as cute as you'd imagine, and cuter, and playing like big stripy kittens tumbling all over each other. I could have spent the whole day watching them.

I've visited it quite a few times, and it's where I got so inspired by Snowleopards.
We usually go camping for a couple of weeks in January each year at a place called Lake Tabourie.
Mogo Zoo is close enough to there that we make a day trip of it most years. We didn't go camping at all this year though since my parents were in the middle of difficult times with work, so I missed out on seeing the tiger cubs.
They had some signs up showing what they feed different animals, this was the snow leopard one: http://tinypic.com/r/8x1z5z/7
Do they still have the tapirs and capybara's? Those totally blew my mind when i was younger hahaa. Mogo the town isnt half bad as well. The lolly store is so win.
Dunno about capybaras but they still have the tapirs. ELEPHANT PIG WHUUUT?
There was also a massive python, and a handler just - stood nearby while it slithered over people's legs and stuff, chillin' and saying hi to a big circle of people on the grass. SO COOL.
