I am rather curious... can you have a best friend in real life and online... or just one at all

i really dont care if its irl or online as long as you know this person is truely your best friend then go ahead and call them that :\

I have a lot of good friends and stupidly, I have to open up my eyes everyday to at least thank them for being there. I have a friend in RL whom has been there for me. Through good and bad and she has helped me out so much. When I can I thank her and she always asks me why. I tell her for being there when I really needed a friend. I make sure she is treated right around others cus of how close her and myself are. I have another close friend whom is online and stupidly, I wish I was closer. He makes me laugh and makes sure I'm doing ok. I haven't thanked him lately but today I should. He recently sent me a note asking if we were still friends, I told him I hope so. I need him around to at least send me a slap to the head when I need it.

Friends is a word if its not committed. Those whom are close will ask if your still friends or if your doing ok or i you need anything. You always have to at least thank them and thank yourself.

Thank them for choosing you and thank yourself for finding them.

I know what you mean. I had this friend who was very fun at first but a about three years in i noticed how mean and hurtful she is. We went to college and are our separate ways, we still chat now and then, but aren't as close. I guess I hate to give up on anykind of friendship, there is a friend somewhere in her.

I do have a best friend that I truly can call a best friend and I'm happy to have her in my life :D

I have a few friends that I consider my "best friends". I've never had one of those kinds that you see in shows/movies all the time, where they do everything together and tell each other everything o3o
But I do love all of my friends <3
