I use gameinformer and giant bomb, but I go to 4pp aswell, I haven't been on GI for a while, so I don't get these updates x3
I just saw an update from Nick on twitter =P
I need to see before I beleve it, I've heard before that a company would make something in HD but that only just became HD ready.
(note: HD is 1080p, HD ready is just 780p, a standard XVGA screen has 762p)
it's not the graphics that is interesting in this, it's that they live on with the current consoles^^
which means it will still looks like crap on a really high resolution display, which I do have.
then again, my graphics card probably can't handle that...
Track Menia is a game, with Track Menia Forever being the current release, Nation is the free version, United the paid pro version.

I borrowed the GoW one briefly as I'd never played the PS2 version, Shadow/Ico I'm getting for the same reason.
The Splinter Cell collection I'm getting too, but It's the Tomb Raider Collection I'm saving up for at the moment, because I effing love Tomb Raider! :D
I'm getting the shadow/ico collection too, GOW I played before, and the Tomb Raider collection would be awesome to have =D
I fucking love this trend, please let it continue =D
Collections I'd like to see:
> Ratchet and Clank
> Jak and Daxter
> Kingdom Hearts
only one I care about on that list there is R&C, I love the effing hell out of the old ratchet games, mostly 2^^
also, Anglea <3 ;)
from R&C 2: going commando. I had a huge crush on her ^//^
I was kinda young when I first played it, but I knew there was definatly something about her even though I barely knew what a crush was at the time! X3
The first 3 games would be perfecton on thier own, Deadlocked was ok, but when compared to the first 3 it falls a bit short, it's llike those arena battles but stretched out into a whole game. It was still fun, though.
Another 2 I just thought of:
> Devil May Cry (I've only played the 1st and 4th but not completed them, never played the 2nd and 3rd before)
> Not really a collection, but Beyond Good and Evil should be remastered when the sequel comes out, it could even come on the sequel's disk or be a seperate download!
I was fairly young too, but not that young, and it wasn't Angela all over my walls, it was more just my heart started pounding real hard and I got real red when I saw her, I was in love x//3
never played dreadlocked though, wasn't that just an arena game?
also never played the DMC games, but I effing LOVE bayonetta! (in which I've heard it's been compared to)
and beyond good and evil too, I believe they are doing that tho, never got very far in the game, but I loved every damn second of it, I was young then too, so I wasn't very skilled at games, or figuring out where to go and such x3
The pest part of Deadlocked is it's cutscenes, they had me crying with laughter even after I first played it! x'D It's all just arena battles and not much else. Worse still, Clank is reduced to a help-desk and is barely even seen! D:
DMC is a bit slow in terms of walking, but the deliberate slowness makes battles rather strategic and satifying once you beat them.
The 4th one is good for 1st time players also, though there are references to past games which you won't get if you haven't played them (like me). Plus, the install time for 4 is almost as long as MGS4, just a warning (I had the PS3 one a long tome ago which I stupidly got rid of for the 360 version, the controller is just horrendous for it. I'm seeking out the PS3 version so I can finally beat it).
It's hard just like Bayonetta also (Chapter 10 was brutal for me, 14 is where I am at the mo) but you get a brilliant feeling of accomplishment once you do it right.
I got BG&E when I first got my preowned original XBOX. I never got very far either, but after restarting recently I'm much better at it! If they are indeed remastering it, I'll buy it the day it comes out! 8D
Cutscenes has always been an awesome part of Ratchet and Clank, so I'm glad they still kept it up in the Dreadlocked game, sucks that it's just an arena game though, it's like they took the concept of R&C3 MP and made it into an entire game =/
I would argue Bayonetta is a very strategic brawler too, a bit faster, but there is method to the madness, and the style is just great^^
I also love the character of Bayonetta, and her attitude to all the crazyness going around is just badass and awesome x3
dante is kinda lame imo.
I had BG&E on my ps2, and I wanna go back to play it again, will see if my copy still works x3
I agree that Bayonetta does have stratergy, as you can't just smack enemies without dodging and such (I suppose this is the case on Very Easy, but I mainly play on normal my first time through a game because I like a challenge) as well as picking the right weapon for the job. I really like her crazy personality and style too as well as the way she treats battling vicious angel-monsters bigger than most buildings as an everyday occurance! x3 The new DMC game coming out will have some tough competition to beat, I've yet to see the trailer.
I can't belive I didn't hear of this HD version earlier! This'll be worth all the money I'm gonna spend on it! :D There also seem to be some control changes (on 360 screenshots, A has been switched to X for actions/fighting) but it shouldn't be a problem.
Did you hear they once gave the PC version of BG&E free in crisp packets in France once?
and yes, I just love everything in Bayonetta, it's so fucking crazy and great x3
and same here! I'm probly gonna get the ps3 version tho, just cuz I played the ps2 version before ;)
Me too, I prefer the controller (which is why I prefer the PS3 version of Bayonetta, among other games I previously owned on 360) other than the 360's (It just dosen't feel right for many games), I even prefer the original XBOX's chunky controller more than it (strange but true), because like the Dualshock 3 it dosen't feel like it's giving me a hand cramp! x3
I don't mind a challenge though. got through most of the game if I remember correctly, I only played the second one though.
I prefer the ps3 controller, but I think the xbox controller works a lot better for Bayonetta and certain other games.
I kinda liked the super huge boxy controller for the original xbox, but damn that was kind of an overkill x3
the playstadion controllers are small and very intuetive to handle, the sticks are horisontal, not diagonally opposd to eachother, making for a much more comfortable experience, plus the d-pad on the xbox sucks balls =X
I prefered Bayonetta on the PS3's controller mainly because of the buttons (pressing Triangle and O together just felt better for me for Climaxes and didn't cause my fingers to slip off unlike Y and B always did) and triggers (again, LT and RT always slipped my grip unlike L2 and R2, RB was a nightmare for locking on so I didn't use it often). I never saw anything diffrent graphically either (I've only played it with it installed, as I heard it ran worse without one) aside from the occasional screen tear and slowdown which never bother me much.
Both the original's and 360's D-Pads I find horrible to use, especially for fighting games (MK vs. DC was almost unplayable for me because of this), the PS controllers did it right thankfully. The XB original's chunky design was indeed overkill, but it felt nice and weighty, especially those triggers! I also effing love the GameCubes controller (the tiny D-Pad is ignored for many games), big green button and all! x3
for me it's the opposite with the controllers =3
and yea, idk why microsoft doesn't have the talent to design working d-pads, and why they haven't replaced the current one =/
and yes, I agree
I think Micro$oft are too busy making Kinect minigame collections instead of designing a D-Pad that'd save millions of gamers from breaking thiey're thumbs!
and yea, agreed =X
it's just not something for me
If it's great however, eff it I'll get it, but I'd rather hear some more impressions on it when it actually comes out =)
