Well, I know some backstory.

Apparently, he got pissed at the shitty comments left by some assholes who were saying all his artwork was tracing.

He trashed his galleries and now lurks around random imageboards, occasionally bestowing everyone with a new image.

I, for example, have at least 2 images that were never on his HF account.

... Yes, I miss a reliable gallery as well.

Yah, I was searching the internet in search of answers and ran across a blog talking all about the exact same thing and showing proof of how they his art was traced and what not. I can understand how some one would get pissed off at that and all, but I think he should have gona as far as to delete his whole gallery and everything.....I REALLY miss his art tho, he was one of my top 10 inspirations for my Rouge art. Btw, could I get those pics from ya? OwO

I too miss his artwork something horrible. I absolutely adored his Rouge and Cream artwork.

He did some amazing work, that he did... But it was the trolls on rule34 that got to him with the tracing comments. I didn't mind, I mean, some of his stuff had some trace work, cut it was from his own pics, so who cares, right?

Exactly!! His art was great whether it was traced or not, and it wasn't like he traced an entire pic or anything like that, just a lil bit of the face....WHO CARES?!?! COME BACK APOSTLE!!!!

Well, after a fair amount of time with people bashing his hard work, I guess it all got to be too much. I mean, how many people here have been tempted to leave FA from all the drama? Eventually it all stacks too high. Plus, if he's like a suspect most reclusive artists to be, an Aspie, then he would have had an even harder time (I realize some people might be offended by that, since the whole Chandler thing is still fresh on the minds of trolls, but as a diagnosed one myself, I know there's more people with it than it seems, and it does compensate for the lack of social graces and comprehension with increased brain activity...)

Once again...all too true, I just hope he manages to pick himself back up and get over all bs all those weak-minded individuals put upon and utterly shut them down with some more superfluous art! XD Now THAT would be a hell of a comeback X3

Yah....a lot of my shit got posted there too until I told those asswipes to take it all down...I swear that is the most troll-spawning place I believe I've EVER encountered on the web.....UGH!! That was one of the main reasons I had my shit taken down, nothin but shit-talkers and racist assfucks on that site....they even talk shit about the artists that have really great artwork. =\

Yes and the images I got were a continuation of Rouge and amy in the shower, an animation of amy gettin it doggiesytle, and a still of the same pic.

I don't think I'll ever understand why Artists get so moody over people/trolls that badmouth their work, but yea, Apostle did have some amazing stuff. I personally like his interpetations of May and Rouge.

People attempted to troll my drawings once, but I just didn't give a fuck about it. So they were just beating a dead horse. 'Course I don't consider myself an artist, and kinda just stopped drawing altogether.

I know I have the stuff he posted on HF somewhere on various Flash drives strewn about my room, I just gotta find 'em...

I was wondering what happened to him. Had no idea the trolls got to him. Well maybe someday he'll come back and we'll all be able to welcome him back to the world with opens arms.

Yah, it is pretty saddening to hear that all that happened and hopefully he will come back one day and he will DEFINITELY be welcomed back. ^^
