We knows when you trace other peoples art/photos...
Oh yes...
It's not hard to see, you can't disguise it...
I'm glad my suckiness is all my own :D

Grand Theft Auto had dildos?!!?
actually, its double-headed dildos!
Time for DEEP interrogation!
Thing is, cops won't go after you when you're armed with a dildo.
BTW Art tracing is bad...except if you acidently redraw you own art without realising it^.^;;
And yes, the eyes of the furry see all.
That aside, go ahead and throw my "Congratulations" on the pile with the others to cash in later. :)
Or, paint over it using only the point of the brush. Lots and lots of little points of varying color to give it depts. Or. Draw with only vertical lines, thickening those lines up toward shadow to give depth.
The possibilities are endless.
Tracing gives you familiarity with a new medium. It lets you see if you can achieve a goal using it.
Take mustard for example. Very unorthadox. By using a traced image to try and replicate the original, you can become familiar with using it.
I'm not joking, by the way. I just decided to use an extremely uncommon example.
However, once they do get used to it, tracing should be stopped and at worst, references used in place. Then it'd be far more noble to our Fake Ethics because they're using their eyes and skill, not wax paper.
I agree that tracing is an important part of learning to draw.
We all did it. To deny that would be foolish.
BUT!
What *really* pisses me off is when people *continually* do it after years of practice.
If there was an "I copied/traced the base of this from *insert name here*" it wouldnt be so bad.
Ofcourse, its not just the person tracing whos to blaim, it's the throngs of "oh em gee this r perty" comments... it just encourages them.
Also, these pictures 'that are clearly trace jobs' don't always involve tracing at all, in the sense of drawing over the top of the original, some are free-hand traces. This helps you both to learn and to correctly draw a pose you may never have done before. My own piece 'two hours' is a freehand copy of a picture in an art book and my version is quite a lot larger than the original, micah's may not be the same size, hell, none of those flashes may be the same size (though some may be,) you simply can't tell without seeing the original piece and the original piece of 'copied' art.
The thing is, there are a lot of kids around on these gallery sites. And you're a popular girl on this site so no matter what you do or what you say it's gonna happen.
It's the same situation when a bunch of guys get together and lie about how many titties they fucked. XP
Everybody needs attention, some more then others. Oh, and congratulations on your anniversary by the way. :D
