I look at the stars for a while, thinking of a lot of things

7 or 8 PM? Play my DS until it comes back on. If it doesn't, I just go to sleep

If I'm with the right person; light a few candles and have sex.

I might just nix the candles, but I'd follow suit!

Grab my bike and go outside. :p

I do either of these three things:

1- Grab a book and a candle light then go to the living room of my house and read in peace and silence.
2- Grab my Nintendo DS with Pokémon Silver and play until the batteries run out.
3- Go to bed and save on DS battery and candle wax.

I look at the stars as well. That or listen to my MP3 player while doing word finds by candle light. That or play my DS or hand held video games or read.

Call the power company to see what's going on and get an estimate for repair time, and then go to bed.

I go to bed earlier and get up at 5AM and feel like I'm gonna live a longer day. :)

Id scream and run outside with the locals and we scream together. Then we run around under the stars laughing and playing. Thats what I did in the New york Blackout.

I used to just grab the lantern and a good book. These days I have an android phone so power outage be damned.

Fire place usually. Fire light is good. Read a bit, listen to the radio... or go back to bed.

I'm boring that way.

I'm partial to putting on an electric lamp and reading. I might look at stars if it's not too cold outside, and maybe just fall asleep early.

I don't think I do anything until I regain consciousness, then I usually have a pounding migraine afterwards.

I turn on my PSP and play something. Or I just listen to my MP3 player for hours on end while daydreaming constantly (like I do all the time).

Uh first I panic, because, OH MAH GAWD there's no TV or videogames to play! (unless you have a handheld system.)

Then I would get over it by either sleeping, reading, or drawing. Whichever one.

I wait for the horribly expensive generator I put in to start itself up and then try to remember which parts of the house it powers. Computer room? Check. TV room? Check. Microwave and fridge? Check and check. What else does one need?

I live in a windy area so it happens fairly often. Hence, the choice to get an auxiliary power source.

I go out and take a walk, maybe go to an internet cafe to pass some time and hope that by the time I get back, the electricity's back again :)

I take all the cushions out the the couch, take out some blankets, make a tent, and pretend I'm campin'!

In the hot steamy summer during the day, take a ride to the beach. At night, go outside until the mosquitos get too serious. During both times talk about what we/I imagine folks did in the Old Days before electricity and video games.
Durng the cold snowy winter days, pull down all the blinds and close the curtains to keep the heat in and the cold from bleeding in through the window glass. Then once the indoor termperature drops below 50 degrees (F), begin making calls to all the animal shelters to find places who will house my five cats. In the meantime, talk about what we/I imagine folks did in the Dark Ages before electricity and video.

And if worse comes to worse, begin making up episodes for our favorite television shows. Imagination does not need electricity.

eu... eu coloquei a cabeça na janela (moro no terceiro anar de um prédio) e começei a olhar as estrelas, quis subir até a cobertura, mas eu não ia subir quatro andares em escadarias (cinco se contar com a da cobertura) sozinho no escuro com uma lanterna de celular, eu só choro pq eu não terei outra chance de ver as estrelas tão bonitas como naquele dia...

eu, eu n sei o que eu faria, eu puxo assunto com quem estiver por perto, fazer besteira em geral (já notou que todo o mundo só se senta numa mesa pra rir e jogar conversa fora em ocasiões assim?)

o resto... eu ficava brincando com a vela, aquecendo as mãos como se fosse uma fogueira...foi tão infantil, mas tão divertido...^^, já que minha mãe e meu irmão estavam meio aperriados já que estava escuro (pra mim foi uma aventura^^)

mas eu mesmo... deitava na grama e ficava olhando as estrelas...

The last time the power went out here, I was in the shower. No windows. Pitch black. I am still afraid of the dark..x.x;

I will do the following in no specific order:

1) Read by candlelight
2) Play DS
3) Play PSP
4) wander around the neighborhood to get away from the sound of the UPS complaining about no incoming power
5) drag my mate to a room, lock the door and get frisky
6) If mate's not availible, fap until he is or my balls are dry.
7) sleep
8) play monopoly (Note: Only for extended blackouts due to hurricanes)

Hmm... anything that involves long needed disconnection from electronic devices. Sometimes you need that sort of thing.

That thing could be:
1. Lay outside and watch the stars and any clouds that might be out. (Warm weather only)
2. Use the fire pit to have a nice fire to sit by. (Outdoors only)
3. Light some candles.
4. Light candles and grab a mate for a nice frisky evening. (Provided that's not already happening)
5. Meditate.
6. Forgo the disconnection and play with my DS. Probably something Kingdom Hearts or Pokemon.

Lie on my bed, start imagining things. Also, read, maybe.

It's quite probable that I'll just sleep though.

Why, that's simple, I enter a circle jerk.

Just kidding, I usually just take a visit to day-dream land, or play numerous portable consoles.
