Say on your page that it is not your intention to draw any characters below the age of consent and no one has the right to depute that without sufficient evidence.

These are characters drawn with very few human qualities so its primarily up to the creator to state intention of his/her own creation.

Its up to you not up to anyone else.

I am pretty sure he stated in one of them that they are of age. I think the girl was just out on a witch hunt really. But whatever. I'm against sexual deviance, and very strict, but even I can tell the difference from a kid, and something of age.

I've got accounts for both InkBunny and DA but they don't supply much of my type of writing in the furry sense.

It's great that artists have other places to go but what about writers?

I've been down the road of trying to get a suitable place for my writing but I ended up staying to these three (FA, SoFurry, and Fur Rag) because there are no other suitable places to put our work except those three places.

InkBunny and DA are more art/ photograph sites especially DA which is where almost all my photography is located.

We as writers don't have many places to go unless we make our own sites or just give in to the reality of we have limited media to share our works on.

In my case I am writer too, however I dont like submit stories because well one day I decided present something... so I submited a short story... 0 views! D: it passed 1 month, 2 months... nothing, so I erased it and nobody noticed! XD Is frustrating indeed.

On this case yes, well the problem I see is the furrys are more visual. DA or Ink, whatever, are galleries, more for visual artist in few words, maybe will work a story if you add pictures with the text, I tried some times with basic stories and worked very good.

I suggest find constests in the web, check if you have a text about the requeriments and participate on it, if you win, congradulations, if not, well it work for your curriculum. I dont have a list of contests because well I am not sure if in english exist some, I am mexican, so I participate in spanish contest.

Maybe is something you are not searching, however, I will reconize is more secure send in RL texts in contests than submit texts in internet because happen some things (I say you for experience)

1.- Is more easy your text lose in the web and someone edit it and stole it... and maybe publish something with your text and you maybe you will never noticed until you read it...
2.- In internet maybe you will be famous with the pictures, texts, photos... but only in internet, not in RL, and has move weight present your works in the world than in a blogspot or galleries like DA.

A friend who is an writer too one day told me something:

"the internet is something very nice, but for the writers is not the step for the people know you, they prefer the MSN or Second Life. So remember, the internet is only a tool for us, your texts are for the real people, not for the bots and the CIA." And well I am writing some extended books about "furries", and I hope one day finish it and publish it.

Hope you have lucky in find a good site for submit texts in internet, some conrades here in Mexico use Blogspot or other webpage for submit only small poems or in some cases the list of the things will do and those things.

There is only one thing..

I write to relax not to pressure myself. The problem is this type of writing deals with things the general public does not understand. I could enter in all the contests I want but then I would end up not happy with myself that I let myself get involved with a group who might go by popular choice instead of common sense.

The problem is as you know furry is popfur dominated and it is frustrating to deal with it knowing a certain species may not do as well as one of the regular more popular species.

Sure I could use all those other places but I feel like I'd be out of an element on sites that don't cater to what I write. Those sites you mentioned are more for real life literature and not this.

I know in my heart of hearts that we as writers are not taken as seriously unless we publish a book or get under some popular publisher. That's great but I'm not about to sit here for months or even years working on a novel I myself will never pick up and read because I do not have the focus for it.

Not all of us are authors contrary to popular belief. I'd rather write this on my own time then try to publish it or for that matter be pressured. I deal with it enough in my own life to where I now do hobbies on my own terms, not somebody else's.

It's the independent lion in me and actually it is just the way I am. It's not like I'm saying I need attention so subscribe to me. What I am saying is I do my best work on my terms and not the terms of a group which I use to pick up tips.

That's how I've always wanted to approach it. Some people work better in a group setting with their writing, I for one prefer not to.

The issue is unfortunately if you go to any of these dump sites the quality of writing you get is at best grade D or lower which means whoever wrote it didn't care about what they wrote and just threw it on there.

This writing is a very structural type focused thing and for some they can channel it no matter what but for others it's different.

I know I'm rambling but that's what furry writers face and it is very frustrating to not have another out in case FA goes to hell.

This is unfortunate. I absolutely am against cub porn, and I am happy that the admins ARE on top of it; However, the fact that an admin thinks that your stuff represented, or resembled cub pron is completely asinine. Your work was (and is) very respectable. This is unfortunate.

The official distinction between underage deer and legal age deer, as explained to me by admin, depends on fawn spots and antlers (for males). A male deer with fawn spots and no antlers, thus, is assumed to be underage.

That's unfortunate, as sika deer and fallow deer in particular keep their spots into adulthood.
