Ok, if anyone can help me with getting a Brazilian work visa or a way I can live in Brazil, please talk with me. >: I am pretty desperate, and I appreciate any help, even just some tips. Thanks, in advance. :3
Well, from what I can tell, you need to get approval for a work visa from the Brazilian government. They usually require you to have a job lined up before they will give you one, and it has to be a job where you have skills that they can't find a local person with. I'm trying to see if anyone else has had any dealings with this or another government with similar laws. Thanks a lot for replying and trying to help. :3
None, and that is kind of the problem. XD If I was already living there, I could probably get a job teaching English. However, I can't live there without a work visa, nor search for a job without one. Kinda a catch-22.
Yeah, it is so hard to move and work in any other country. You either have to work at a US based company that has a branch in that other country, or you have to be some kind of über gifted person. Marriage would work if any countries considered gay marriage to be legitimate. >_>
You're right, that is probably my best chance. I will have to work on my Portuguese quite a bit, but this would probably be the best thing. There are a few English teaching schools where I want to go. Thanks for reminding me. :3
Well...I'm near Florianopolis....and I can say that as a port and airport area, this region holds a good range of jobs opportunities requiring bilingual people.
I'd sugest you to look for a job in the airport 'cos they're hiring like all the time. I Know the Avianca Airlines is hiring for check-in, in Florianopolis Airport.

Also....I've just spoken to my brother....he said you have to check if u really need a visa! some contries just don't ask for it. depending on where yo live.
Yeah, I need to get a business or permanent residence visa. Which both are hard to get. I need to look into it more. It is a shame civil unions don't count.
