Please don't lock submissions. I know I refuse to use inkbunny, I'd hate to know you have art up I'll never see. Forcing watchers to make accounts on other sites honestly sucks.

There's still quite some issues with inkbunny being considered a Cub art haven.

That and the whole, forcing others to watch on other sites is quite annoying to track if you have to do it for so many artists.

Perception and reality are two very different things. As I said to Dragon-Star below, only about 20% of the art on IB is 'cub', and 50% of all art is rated 'General'. Plus people can just block cub stuff if they dislike it so much.

It's probably less than 10% now. Cub-tagged works number 4847, and there are 56,283 submissions in total.

Yeah, I just about doubled it because I'm sure there are some submissions that aren't tagged, or are improperly tagged. But even 20% is far from a "cub haven" or anything like that.

Becuase I'm tired of creating accounts everywhere. I already have yaoi, SF, FA, DA, e621, paheal, pixiv, etc etc etc, of those I don't even use half of them and each needing it's own password, so in the event of an account hijack that password/username combo won't give them access to other accounts elsewhere..... I'm seriously tired of artist jumping site to site and forcing those who enjoy watching their art, or aspiring to commission them some day, to create excessive accounts all over just to view the art. IB is also geared toward marketing and selling stuff. I get enough spam as it is from FA and DA, DA is getting used less and less. I've got tons of other reasons, all valid. Cub art NOT being one of them. I really don't care what artists choose to draw, that's their choice.

I'm not asking you to not open an IB account. I'm just asking as a fan of your works not to lock it there. I'd like to be able to view it. I would ask that you not post exclusive content there also unless you are selling it, as that forces us "those who won't have an IB account" to go to that site.

I am personally not very interested in Inkbunny, for one being the central hub for cub porn these days and I have heard that Inkbunny isn't a very good place, known a few artists who tried over there and just came back here.

Not really a fair thing to post 'exclusive' art, I tend to get that enough from video games and DLC, its almost forcing you to go to 'x' or buy 'x' item to enjoy it.

Not being mean, but really, exclusive art isn't fair to all watchers, especially the ones who don't wish to join Inkbunny

I'd like to know who the artists were if you actually know a few. Perhaps they needed some help but didn't know where to get it. Besides I'd like to know what can be done to make the experience better for everyone.

There could be some reasons for wanting to post 'exclusive' stuff, like maybe the reaction to that art would be more positive there, or perhaps they want to be able to sell something for those who are willing to support the artist and pay for it.

In my opinion, there's little reason to not join IB, it has more features than FA and is lots more sophisticated and up-to-date. Plus it has keyword blocking, so if you really dislike cub stuff that much, block it. If you don't like vore, guro, rape, etc. Block all that too. Certainly not a feature that FA offers. :)

Inkbunny isn't any more cub central than the other two active communities. There was a short flood of it when FA banned it because all the artists dispersed. It's died down considerably.

As for artists, the ones who like to create and show what they made are perfect for IB. The ones trying to run a business have a better time on FA because of the sheer volume of users. IB's definitely a smaller community. You're not going to get 100's of comments or 1000's of watches, but if you're interest is art and not "porn catered to your specific tastes", IB is the better site.

This "baaaw exclusive" thing is pretty pathetic. It takes less than ten minutes to make an account. If you're too lazy or stubborn, that's your problem, not the artist's.

Even if I did make an account to see this exclusive art, I would most likely only make an account to see that and then the account being pretty much left to gather dust. Why? Because I rather staying on FA than having to create yet another account just to see more art from an artist who already posts art on FA but feels the need to post art exclusively on another site.

Some of us don't see the incentives in exclusive art on other sites just to make us make yet another account for yet another site.You may be willing to make accounts for countless sites, but some of us like staying in one spot.

I don't have anything against artists using Inkbunny in any way, thats their business, I only want to make the point for giving other users a fair go in not forcing us to migrate to yet another site just cause said artists want to post exclusive art there.
