Just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Valentines day. It seems to me that almost more people HATE this holiday that like it, around here. so let me say a few things. You dont have to be in a relationship to have a great valentines day. Chances are you have lots of close friends who love and care about you more than you even know - and would love to show you some love today (yes even if they are in a relationship). Just because you arent going out with someone doesnt meant you shouldnt show them a little extra love on this day, let your close friends know you love em and appreciate them, especially the single ones! get em a little something even if you want - it would probably REALLY make their day more than you could ever know :3

So yeah Singles Awareness day? Maybe - - - Be aware of your single friends and show them that they are worth something and they arent destined to be alone for the rest of their life by spreading a little compassion! They really need it today <3

So in no way am i trying to start any discussions or shit about valentines day and how it sucks or whatever, I agree with the people who say you should always show that special someone love every day not just this one - but this is a day to really do something crazy special and go out on a limb so have fun and do so! In no way am i Ranting or venting, im actually really happy right now and want my friends and others to be the same. These were just my thoughts i had this morning when i was thinking about a few single friends of mine whom i care for lots and i felt like sharing :P I <3 you guys tons!

I hope you had an amazing Valentines day. I did. Even though my mate and I aren't physically together right now he still made me feel like he was right here with me and showed me love. I think this is what Valentines day is about. <3

Its just another day for me. I don't really have any close friends and though i do have someone special distance separates us making it hard to make today special. But to say i hate it. Is like saying you have St Patrick's day even if your not irish, just enjoy the atmosphere indulge yourself once and a while.

I hear that! being single sucks, but you know what, I still can say I love the people around me, and hope they show the same appreciation in turn.

It's not all about having that one person in your life, it's all the people you can care for and love in general! It doesn't have to be all romantic and for that one person in your life, share your time with others, let them know they're wanted! :)

nahh this year i actually think i did one of the best possible things a single dude can do on valentines day *coughbesidesjerkingofffuriouslyprobablytoyourartcough* but i took a bud out to dinner and paid for it (much to his rage :3c) and spent a really chill evening with him

I couldn't spend much of the day talking to the green one, I actually drove my best friend around for his 21st birthday instead since someone stole his jacket that had his car keys, we went to pfchangs with all the furfags out here, and ordered a bunch of berry mojitos XD

And I totally agree, you don't need a set in stone Valentine to be happy. There are many more people without a valentine who could use the looooooove.
