Today is my birthday! So we're off to Casa Bonita! If you don't know what that is, I feel sorry for you, since its the most awesomely bad Mexican restaurant ever!

OMG Casa Bonita! I used to live in Lakewood, and the one time (yes I know we should have tried to go more often than once lol) but the one time we tried to go they were closed, I was so disappointed. Have fun!

Red Robin? Fail. They're as gross as Applebees. And yeah, if you live any where that's has a Casa Bonita your pallet will be far too under developed for Fuddruckers, like giving a five year old caviar

I think you're missing the point. One does not go to Casa Bonita for the food, because it's completely disgusting. That's pretty much their claim to fame. You go for the atmosphere.
I would compare it more to a shitty version of the Rainforest Cafe, but it's nothing like Chuck E. Cheese.
Have you ever taken the time to tour the building? It's really amazing.

We were actually talking about how its similar to Ponchos with its 'raise the flag for all the awful Mexican food you can eat' style, but aside from that its nothing like Ponchos. The food at Casa Bonita is not as good because its all about the atmosphere, which includes a waterfall, jungle, caves, mariachis, jugglers and gun fights... all of which are silly and over the top.
